In general it's better to have kids younger, so you have lots of energy to chase them around, than older because you want to experience being passed around. -

see this is the thing that always gets me when people say that its wrong for an older guy to be fucking a 14/15 year old based on the notion that you are taking away their innocence and that a 14/15 year old is mentally immature to handle a sexual relationship. because most of them are already having sexual relationships with other boys their own age.
everybody totally misses the point to the age of consent and the reason it is set at the age that it is. when a government sets an age of consent they take into consideration the fact that most people are matured enough mentally to handle a sexual relationship by the age of 13 or 14. however there are still a number of people who are late developers who are unable to handle such a relationship still by the age of 15. the government is unable to assess everybody on an individual basis, that would be impossible. so it sets a blanket age to cover everybody in order to protect those few that are the late developers.
it has nothing to do with girls bodies being too under-developed to manage a pregnancy or it being 'disgusting. but that's how most people have comprehended it over time, due mostly by the fear mongering media using 'sex offenders' as a 'dragon' to scare people into thinking they need the authorities to 'protect' their children.

I'm taking the long tail into account for all of our hominin ancestors, but you still seem to only be talking about homo sapiens (a small fraction of the totality of natural selection experienced by hominins). If we go back through time to Habilis, to Afarensis, to Ardipithecus all the way back to Sahelanthropus, these homonins certainly did not live up to 60, even if they had the opportunity to live in contemporary environment. -

go talk to some. you will find out that the majority of them are fucking older males…in some cases much, much older.
