I disagree. Biologically, in terms of the body, it makes more sense. In terms of mental/emotional development, education, finances, and current societal structures, no it doesn’t, which is why I mentioned those things as deterrents in the part of my post you removed lol. -

There's more to this than number of babies shit out = reproductive success.
Kids live in families, with strong males around. They need to begin menstruation and menstruate for a while to get used to the whole process physiologically and emotionally. When kids begin to menstruate they are still really short and frail, and in general haven't finished developing physically. No strong male will allow such a girl to be married off. -

I'm simply saying that 7 million years of evolution (since around the time of the first hominin) has made it so by modern standards the majority of our ancestors were some sort of epebophile. You seem to be talking about the more recent phenomena of monogamous mating in line with the behavioural modernity of homo sapiens. Reproductive success is the number of babies shat out who are also able to shit out other babies.
For example, if by the year 2200, the majority of the world has been replaced by Negroids who genetically replace every other race then steal and learn their technology and culture, under the metrics of evolution they would be deemed reproductively successful even if their average IQ has not cracked double digits.

12-13 was the average age, but only due to high infant mortality - lots of babies, kids and teens died, but if you lived to be 18 you could expect to live to be 60. It's called a long tailed distribution. -
