   same difference...and same effect. as in, not a damned thing. shooting a gas can or tank doesnt do a damned thing. people watch too many movies
   
   even if bullets were made out of some sort of ferrous material (which theyre not)...and the gas container was also made out of something ferrous (good luck with that...most gas cans now are plastic) that caused a spark there is still a bloody low likelihood of causing flames or explosion.
