Did you paraphrase that line from some 1970's totse text file? -

No. It's an opinion formulated after learning that Tom Delonge from Blink-182 of all people has started a media company that's basically designed for that very purpose. He's hired legit scientists and government insiders to lend credibility to his cause. To further bolster that credibility his company released a few videos of UFOs that were recorded aboard military aircraft with equipment that is routinely inspected and certified for duty, which makes these videos uniquely verifiable as genuine footage that hasn't been tampered with or altered in any way.
I've always felt that pilots make for the most credible witnesses because of their training and competency about aerial phenomena.
Anyway, if the cover-up was on these videos would have never seen the light of day because the footage would have been destroyed or disappeared. Letting them leak can only mean that the veil of secrecy is lifting. Did none of you find it interesting that Hillary Clinton promised disclosure if she won the Presidency? -
2018-05-11 at 2:17 AM UTCMy point was that that line has been used since the 1940s or so. The reality of UFOs isn't really in question. There is a mountain of evidence. But the notion that any President, regardless of Regan, Trump or Clinton would plainly interpret and tell the truth about it is severely flawed.

2018-05-11 at 2:41 AM UTCI bet you tards think the earth is flat too
Any "alien" capable of communicating with us would not do so in such a sterotypical or humanisitic fashion.
You people are too stupid to really think outside the box far enough to visualize how such a thing would pan out. -

I'm brilliant actually I just failed in school because it was fucking miserable and I didn't want to be there.
While in class I would daydream about video games and stuff ... Literally never payed attention at all to the teachers. -

Let's say a civilization makes it to the point that they can achieve trans-galactic travel/communication.
Think about the prerequisites it would take to get there, compare a type III or IV civilization to ours and realize they started out originally as fleshy beings just like us.
Do they make it to type III as a socially and philosophically advanced species or a barberous one that believes might makes right?
There are possibly trillions of civilizations in this particular universe with millions that make it to type II and III status, at that point they would have to either cooperate or battle against each other.
Ok so a type IV civilization exists, why aren't they communicating with us?
Because at that point their motivations would have changed it's no longer about colonization or exploration maybe they don't even have a need for this plane of existence.
The only types of civilizations interested in us would be type 0 or I and at that point they're too meager to communicate with us and if they manages to they would realize from their own experience that whoever they communicate with first would possibly be under the control of malevolent forces they might avoid contact altogether in order to keep themselves safe.
Any beings that know of us are either observing indirectly since they would be more interested in what is happening in our solar system on a scientific basis not a social one. -

Nigga, what do you think it looks like to the animals that human scientists study in their natural habitat?
Abduction stories are easier to disprove than not, but some of them are quite compelling. I imagine any species advanced and motivated enough to explore the cosmos would take interest in our little blue planet with intelligent life that hasn't managed to destroy itself yet if they discovered us. We would be studied the same as we study any other organsim. Why else would an advanced species invest their efforts into interstellar travel if they didn't use it to explore the most interesting part of it?
Personally, I think we'd most likely be visited by an unmanned drone or a ship that's controlled by a form of nonbiological life since the constraints of intergalactic travel make it more feasible. Most people don't realize it, but we're not very far away from being technologically capable of sending small unmanned probes to beta Centuari ourselves. It could very well happen in our lifetime. It really is an amazing time to be alive. -
2018-05-11 at 11:38 AM UTCI think the ship I saw was refuelling.

It's the triangle at the top just going behind the building. It was a giant floating triangle that was VERY loud and you could tell someone was piloting this thing, all kinds of lights coming off it.
It just floated around slowly and then everything went silent and it was gone without a trace.
