    I like your syllogism, it's optimistic but I don't agree. Vegans need refrigerators. Not for the same variety of perishables as you, but in the first world, they're still going to have one in their kitchen running all the time. There are other speculative claims that can be defended on the environmental benefits of a plant-based diet that I've come across, but in general, we're no better with refrigerators than you.

    All of those appliances are frequently used by omnivores, they aren't even remotely vegan-exclusive. Unless you have data to support a claim about vegan appliance usage and/or electrical consumption, I think this would fall under the category of 'conjecture'.

    You're 100% right, but many vegans I've met are okay with eating an egg now and then as long as they can verify that the conditions where the hen is living are humane. Usually, this requires that they've been to the coop and know the person collecting the eggs.
