Hey there, I’m going to talk a little bit about lifting in this thread.
In this thread we will be covering three things for the time being. The first of these will be “full range of motion” and the benefits of lifting properly. Then we will move onto nutrition and how to get the best meal for the lift. Lastly, we will cover maxes, and what lifting goals are suitable for you. I am in much of a hurry, writing this in a rush, so I will probably add and expand onto this later.
FULL RANGE OF MOTION
Let’s start off this portion with a description of what full range of motion is. Full range of motion is touching your glute to your calf on a squat, touching the bar to your chest on a bench press, or putting your nose/chest to the ground on a push up. Your body wants full range of motion, it is the healthy thing to do. The benefits of full range of motion include a limber, more natural body motion in everyday life, (you don’t want to walk around like a muscle fuck). Muscles will also cramp less if you use full range of motion. However, hypertrophic (high reps for muscle mass) muscle training can make FMR difficult, as you are doing many more reps. However, you will still be able to do pacing activities when you train hypertrophically.
Nutrition
Ok guys, look… There are many, many theories. You want to get buff, you gotta spend money, or raise your own food. I like beef, just saying. Rice is really good for you. I don’t like the sweetness of corn, and you never go wrong with wheat :/ I won’t go too much into this, as the forum has a lot of talk about nutrition as it is. But get your beef, get your carb, and your fats so you can produce T. I never got mad at anyone for steroids, except for chad. I hate chad. If you’re reading this Chad… KYS
Maxxin’ out
Why are you repping 185?
Do you know what a squat is?
Don’t throw your back out on the hang clean.
Point is guys, sometimes the best muscles aren’t the ones you use for a fight. A strong back will help you get the job done quicker. Is the bench press the most effective way to look like a boss?
Thank you

I need to lose weight, not gain more. If I start lifting now, I'll be a beast of 235 pounds of pure muscle mass. like a fucking gorilla.
i don't need to put that kind of pressure on my heart valves right now... I'd rather lose weight and tone up. lots of cardio for me. Yet I respect you for your goals. Keep up the weight training and thanks for the input!

Why did you make a thread about something you have no experience or knowledge of.
