210g of supposed grayish glycyl chloride HCl was added to happily stirring solution of canary yellow 5-bromo-2'-chloro-2-aminobenzophenone powder dissolved in 2,5L of 99,5% chloroform ("almost dry"). Condenser was attached and the solution/suspension was refluxed for 4 hours on water bath[1]. By scientifically using nose as meter for HCl evolution, none was noted at any stage which was considered weird. Nonetheless the solution was cooled to RT and 1L of dH2O was added to the opaque solution. Next, scientific wild-ass guess[2] was applied: 80g of NaOH in 1L of fridge cold H20 was estimated to liberate the 5-bromo-2-glycylamino-2'-chlorobenzophenone from its hydrochloride and bring the solution slightly basic. The solution added to the stirring solution. No apparent heating was noted. The suspension cleared into a nice clear/translucent, golden yellow solution. The layers were separated and the chloroform layer was washed again with 1,5L of dH2O and distilled out on water bath w/o vacuum[3] until no chloroform were present (nose analysis). After adding 2L of toluene, the water bath was replaced with oil bath and approximately half of the solvent was evaporated (~1½ h)[4]. When the solution cooled about to room temperature some white particles were noted. The appearance was like dust flowing in the air. The flask was left to cool overnight. In the morning the bottom of the flask was filled with solid transparent crystalline mass. Some of it was broken up and scooped out. It has an appearance like transparent sulfur crystals/rocks.

I used to deliver pizzas blacked out on xanax and it was pretty cool because I would just wake up flush with cash and it was like I never had to work. Then a couple weeks of my life went missing and there was a serious stash of drugs just littered in my car that was broken down.
