1975 , Made for TV (ABC Movie of the week I think-which they made some great theater quality films for TV back in the day-free)
I was looking for the other film. can't find it.. Its very simular but that one is like a reimagination of the 66 event. that guy climbs large water tanks and goes to a drive in theater. that was the one that reminded me of Vegas. only I ended up finding the other film.
I think the one I was going to show her was called "The Target" or some shit. hard to find.
You have to watch it with stupid advertisements every 10 minutes
they had ads about San Francisco PoC against White Politicians. ran by active Mayor of San Francisco London Breed.

There is a line in the film where the Fed tells the cops "it's too bad you don't have better rifles" and one cop replies "It's the damn liberal media.. something something
and then the Fed contradicts himself and says "It's your gun crazy states fault for having easy registrations and high power weapons (again.. not verbatim) and makes the cop feel bad and the cop lowers his head.
And the first thing I thought of was you guys saying exactly this "jedi Science Conspiracy media" or some shit.
sadly it made me internally laugh cause I could see 4 decades hasn't changed attitudes about gun control. -
