so ja.
id like to see how fast you type in ''foreign'' language.
How often are you typing words you know vs. words you've never seen before? Do you expect you'll need to be transcribing an article full of words you don't know at any time, thus making words you use all the time unuseful? Not to mention that, in your conception of a reasonable typing test, people with large vocabularies are perhaps at an even greater advantage. You're making zero sense. -
2018-05-04 at 9:42 PM UTCyes i suppose you could say i have a superior grasp of the english language ( not that i know what that word means )
but mostly i chalk it up to doing my due diligence -
2018-05-04 at 9:49 PM UTCtyping is a poor way to evaluate hand function, how well can you play the guitar?

My best time after warming up on a couple. No doubt the subject matter urged me ok to speeds I didn’t know I could achieve.

That’s was just funny. No hate ACP. I’m starting to think your constant mimicking is a very strategic troll. People have habit their fancy catch phrases that make them feel smart stolen. And they also hate hearing Bill Krozby’s subhuman retarded ones as well. -

still dont change the definition of the word ''typing'' i tho.
a genuine typing test should test and only test a typists ability to type and only type,
not how well he or she had the words memorized as sequences of keystrokes and their ability to spell.
therefore a true typing test should consist of making a someone type a full paragraph made out of random string of characters separated by randomly spaced spaces between them. -

I'll tell you what: even I don't value your idea of a good typing test, I'd be willing to try one. If this is a good way to structure a typing speed test in the way you described, someone has probably made it. Find one that uses words I don't know already, with random strings of characters and random spacing, arranged into paragraphs. I'll take it and post the results, even though I won't acknowledge their validity. You can offer whatever criticism you want, of course. -

you can just take the test in any foreign languages that you dont already know ...
or
you can just forward them my posts discrediting their so called ''typing tests'' and tell them to cook up one with random characters.
if their genuine about their pursuit of true typing speed as they said their, they will listen. -
2018-05-05 at 4:50 AM UTCNo, I like your idea about ones with large, compounded and hyphenated words, and strings of numbers with random spacing. Find me that, please.
