Yeah bro, "white people" is just colonial bullshit. the ones who come to North America and embrace a "white" identity were probably just shit tier white people. Not all. The majority are, officially, but there are also catholics (north mainly) and orthodox (south).
The truth is though, that the Albanians never really cared about religion. The albanians in Kosovo are much more religious and great majority muslism.
Albania though is very different in this. During communism they were the only country of eastern block, officially declared an atheist country. Closed down all the churches and Mosques and persecuted the cleric, be that christian or muslims. Although the catholic church suffered the most cause they were the most educated and anticommunists. So, all those years raised another generation which was totally foreign to the religion.
But even before, historically, they never really cared. They were christians in origin, but the majority changed with Ottoman invasion because they had benefits if they did it. Which tells you how much they cared about religion. Lol
For centuries all communities have had no problems at all and lived in great harmony with each other. During the WWII, Albania was the only country which ended up with more jedis after the war than they had before. Muslim families were among those who saved them, and that's because Albanians care more about their Canun, rather than religion or laws. Lmao
The stronghold of the chatholics remained in the north, where my father comes from. They were the most anticommunist as well, but the north is a particular place. People there are GOT like north, if you know what I mean. Lol

I'm an atheist myself. Mom and dad are catholic, although they aren't religious.
