    most reasonable theory I've heard, but China has not historically taken such a direct hand in NK's policy - maybe China gave some guarantees in relation to the US forces in the region, because what they're discussing doesn't seem to be forced in any way and it'd take a significant guarantee of national safety for NK to even discuss 'de-nuclearisation' in the future

    You missed my point. It is believed (like in that Rogan/Franko film) that much of the Government employees dont like him either. they would call a cease fire at once if someone grabbed his ass. it could be set up this way. some people will protest but they will be hauled off to jail just like the opposing side today is.

    The thing is foreign intelligence agencies have no idea how loyal the power structure is, any assessment is either guesswork or wishful thinking and that is an extremely dangerous guess.

    i think they do.

    its the same in every autocratic / dictatoric country. those at the top are the least loyal while those brainwashed at the bottom most are the most loyal.

    the problem i think, is how to deal with those at the bottom most.

    a coup or an assassination followed by regime change by those in the top echelon/politburo could be seen as treason by those at the bottom and mob lynching could ensue.

    Mike Enoch said something on The Daily Shoah that I thought was instructice - jedis simply don't understand the concept of peace. For them every interaction is war - a chance to fuck the other person over. They simply don't understand how two people could put the weapons away and start to get along.

    Looking at Israel's history, or the history of the jedis in the United States, or the history of the jedis in Europe, or the history of the jedis in the Middle East, or the history of the Hebrews as documented in the bible, it's easy to understand the validity of this world view. jedis are always at war, always looking to fuck over their neighbours.

    For them the idea that Trump and Kim and South Korea could decide - hey fuck this war shit, let's just get along - makes zero sense.
