I feel great! I do understand why it seems unhealthy at a glance, but I've carefully accounted for the macronutrients I need, along with most of the micronutrients. There are a few ingredients I'd like to add that I don't have yet, like a more bioavailable potassium supplement, a cheaper source of choline, etc. but for the most part, all of my dietary needs are satisfied with just these smoothies. -

2018-01-24 at 9:41 PM UTCOne thing that would concern me is the unnaturally large spike in insulin it may produce due to being liquid. I haven’t researched it and there’s a good chance someone had written about it, though.

I was struggling to prepare meals during a depressive episode. Meanwhile, I was gaining weight from the meds I was taking, which weren't really helping so much as making me hungry after 10 PM on a consistent basis. I couldn't just change my diet: I had to find a new way to eat, and it had to be simple. I tried Soylent, but it was getting expensive so I figured out what I needed to make my own and made a few adjustments to my preference. Now it takes me about 10 minutes to prepare enough 'food' for the whole day, I'm getting enough calories to sustain me and promote weight loss. -
2018-01-24 at 9:45 PM UTCZanick, make sure you eat fiber supplements. I did 100% soylent for a bit and that was the most important part, you have to take good shits otherwise you start slowly feeling awful.

I get a lot of fiber from psyllium husk and from frozen fruit, but it was definitely a process of trial and error for me also. -

It's hard to articulate to people how this is an issue. I've had Ensure and shit like that, and it baffles even the people close to me who don't understand why I can't just eat like them. But being that I'm a vegetarian, I've gotten an earful for years about my choices of foods for a while, and I've learned that 95% of the bullshit that people tell each other about diet is just that. -
2018-01-24 at 9:55 PM UTCSo, can you go through your process/schedule in whole? If you want to that is. Also, do you exercise?
Right now my diet consists of a bagel/some fruit in the morning, leftovers or some shitty frozen thing for lunch, and whatever during the night time. If I snack, it's on pickles or celery or a banana - something very light. It doesn't make me feel very good. I'd like to eat less meat and less sugar. Haven't worked out regularly in a while either. I tend to be most healthy during the warm months where I'm outside daily and eating lots of grilled veggies n shiet. -

Yes! I wake up around 8 or 9 and have some espresso, then I take a nap for another hour or so if there's time. When I wake up, I mix a smoothie using the following ingredients:
30g hemp protein
24g pea protein (I sometimes double this)
15g psyllium husk
1 scoop of powdered greens
1 tbsp MCT oil
1 tsp maca powder
5g creatine monohydrate
I blend it with one cup of frozen berries and two cups of a milk substitute (usually a low-calorie almond milk). Usually, I'll throw in some extras like turmeric, matcha green tea, hemp oil, and stevia for taste.
As for exercise, I recently got a Fitbit and it's helped me attain a moderate level of activity throughout the day. I don't work out much, however. The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
2018-01-24 at 10:22 PM UTCI usually start drinking at 6, and I'll have one to two glasses of red wine throughout the evening. As I get close to bedtime, I smoke as much weed as I can.

2018-04-24 at 8:04 PM UTCI'm still doing this, and it's even more involved than ever. Here's my current intake:

5 g creatine monohydrate
3,700 mg potassium citrate
1.25 tsp calcium-magnesium citrate
0.5 tsp MSM powder (sulfur)
200 mg L-Theanine
1 tbsp psyllium husk
300 mg beta-gpc
For a month I tried adding 28 g sprouted pumpkin seed protein and I liked it, but the only affordable brand was made on equipment shared with dairy products and I'm going for an all-vegan diet right now, plus I just didn't see a need for the extra protein.
Generally, I drink this over the course of a day, sometimes two depending on my activity level. I have tons of energy. In the evenings, if I get hungry, I'll make an arugula/spinach/tomato salad with balsamic vinegar. If I want a snack, I roast some popcorn in coconut oil on the stove. I've lost almost 30 pounds this year!
I cut the protein in half; I'm not lifting lately and it's a waste. Now I'm drinking a shake pretty much every other day and eating a lot of greens or chewing gum when I get hungry. I've lost more than 30 lbs, and I mean to keep going. -
