   Hm. I've had coffee liqueur, but I didn't know coffee beer is even a thing. That sounds like it almost certainly doesn't taste good, and the carbonation combined with coffee taste would be weird.

   That is not a beer (Grimace edit) but Sam Adams Coffee Beer has been a thing. It's aight. Think dark lager lightly carbonated with hints of coffee.
