   Sure, I'd even go so far as to say you'd be morally remiss if your chose not to rather than collecting the money and donating it towards something useful, although it would be understandable. You can save a lot of 5 year olds (and others) with a billion dollars.

   Nah Mal Mal has a point. The point is even if it's for 'the greater good' a small evil is still inexcusable. Lan will never agree because he is alll about that utility and tries to derive morality from such a position. I'd take a more moral absolutist stance in general.
