Because the thing we broke into was a construction trailer, and we had no intention to steal anything just have a look and hang out. The most pointless crime i've committed is probably vandalism. I wouldn't break in anywhere again but i probably would break stuff again. IDK.

2016-08-31 at 1:31 AM UTCI dunno about your country, but my jurisdiction the penal code itself says its not criminal trespass unless you intend to commit theft or some other crime, or if there are clearly posted no trespassing signs.

My clandestine research is 100% legal especially considering the fact that I can consume anything illegal very quickly. It also helps that my country has VERY loose chemical laws to promote industrialization. I can legally purchase stuff like phenyl 2 propanone, methylamine, mercury salts and sodium metal without a license (finding a place that will sell it is the real trick). I am very well read on my local chemical and explosive precursor laws and I memorized all the weights and chems. I used to sell restricted chemicals so I know all the laws about stuff like large drums of acetone, phosphorus, ephedrine, lysergic acid, safrole. The only trouble you can really get in trouble is if you fuck with lots of nitromethane and ammonium nitrate and they can prove you are gonna pull an OKC ISIS with it. I used to set off explosives a lot when I was younger and as long as you do it safely and away from people its totally legal.
The government regulation is so fucked up and organized crime groups exploit this to make super labs, lots of clandestine fentanyl is cooked up locally around here and it's killing people, another feather in the cap for legalization I guess. Your traditional drug precursors are all banned but stuff like methylamine and anhydrous ammonia are impossible to ban because of the oil and gas industry.
I know all the licenses you need to buy a 10L drum of MEK or acetone. This might seem complicated and insane to the average person but it's all basic knowledge for me. Don't even get me started on pesticide and food products!.
I have worked in illegal cannabis grow ops trimming weed and watering plants, there was also a mushroom farm that I helped out a lot but I'm sworn to secrecy on that one ;)
As for violent crime, I am a pretty violent person you know. I have given a few girls black eyes, I have robbed drug dealers and high school aged teens. I have broken into stores at night and looted the place, same with apartments and houses. I don't shoplift unless I'm homeless. I used to give drugs to high school kids and they would steal beanadryl and bundy from the grocery store for me.
I also like to break windows.
Probably the most serious/pointless crime I have been involved in is torching a house. I almost caught an arson charge on that one and I pissed off the entire town with a pointless fire. The cops were ON MY ASS after that fire because they were at my house a week before that doing well being checks on me while I was spinning a meth pipe for weeks on end. I was engaged in some pretty ground breaking research at the time and I had plans to launch my entire out into low earth orbit and make it 100% air tight pressurized. I started mining through the concrete in the basement and struck radon. The main problem / crime was that I was stealing power from the grid with a hacked box and when my copper wire bypass exploded the fire spread throughout the crack shack and ignited my 5 year stock of meth precursors, At least the evidence was destroyed.
I don't consider darknets illegal because its all p2p private and enrypted so as long as the dogs of war don't sniff you out with a big package its pretty much just like buying beedrill on ebay.
I always wanted to rob a bank and remember asking Fanglekai (he worked at a bank) about the details. I don't think I would ever do it. not good enough risk/reward.
and I imagine if I tried to rob an armored truck it would probably end up like this

I can just buy jerrycans full of gallons of hydrochloric acid, MEK, acetone and H2O2, from a local internet shop. No license required. No ID required. -
2016-08-31 at 2:18 AM UTCI used to sell all that stuff, but for home builders you need a business license or they wont sell you the 10L drums (they are half drums really). You can also bypass a lot of stuff by selling raw chemicals as something else, like hydroponic garden chemicals. or brick cleaner.

the irony is...the one horrific thing ive ever 'bragged' about with more than enough evidence for a prosecutor to convict i never heard a word about....yet...i get my balls busted for the stupidest shit and shit i didnt even have anything to do with.

i dont have problems buying any of that stuff...except h202...i have no use for that.
hcl: pool chemistry balancing, cleaning concrete, metal, etc. they sell it in 4-gallon cases and ive bought multiple pallets full at one time...delivered via tractor-trailer...with zero issues
MEK: solvent for various things, such as completely dissolving plumbing PVC to allow rebuilding/repairing it, solvent for various isocyanate paints/caults/compounds, epoxy. ive bought it in 5-gallon sizes with zero issues
acetone: multiple 5-gallon drums. i use that shit for everything...cleaning paint, cleaning paint sprayer guns (fuck you EPA and california...i fill my paint cup with straight acetone and spray it right into the atmosphere until the gun is clean), cleaning PVC before applying glue (cheaper than the shit they sell that is dedicated PVC cleaner...but leaves less residue after the shit evaporates), soaking things in to clean them...gets oil off things i dont want it on (automotive oil changing tools/equipment)
i do have a hassle getting fucking lye. lye shouldnt be such a pain in the dick to get...its too useful.

I always got my lye from red devil type sources at the hardware store. They sell it in 1kg cylinders for like $5. You can also order it from lots of companies for about $30/25kg when you buy bulk.
I used to get my sulfuric acid from the hardwore store but it had all kinds of other crap + red dye in it. I learned you can get 30% sulfuric by going into NAPA auto parts and telling them you need to fill an electrolyte for a car battery, they will say just fill it with water but if you tell them it's empty they will sell you a big jug of the pure stuff.
Nitric acid has been a tricky one for me to get, it is a registered explosive precursor so people don't like to have it around unless they need to. I used to know a lot of gold panners, jediellers to get cyanide salts and nitric acid but only small amounts.
