it's a little known fact that golf is the perfect sport to play while tripping. you can take all the time you want, and the only thing that matters is intense concentration for like a few seconds at a time when you swing. for this reason it became very popular with users of psychedelics and it was encouraged for people to play golf and share their LSD with friends
I know people who play it while high on weed. That might be good enough for me. My LSD days are over. -

I just took it for kicks, to experience another perception of reality for something different. But now normal reality is fucking surreal and crazy enough as it is. I don't think I'd be able to handle LSD these days. -
2018-04-03 at 1:34 PM UTCthere's something amusing about the word 'forbidden'
doubly so for 'haraam' -

to each their own... not that I take psychedelics frequently these days but I've noticed the older I get I feel way more calm on psychedelics than I used to be because I understand the plight of our cosmos more than I used too.
though man about a couple years ago the night before my b-day i tripped one of those weird "acid" like research chemicals, some powder in a capsule or 2 i don't really remember what it was, 3cpo or something..
but I took it with this girl and kinda freaked out, but I think I freaked out because I was way more of an alcoholic at the time and was prolly semi-sick when I took it, so the tripping aspect combined with nausea / hypertension was extremely uncomfortable so I clutched her hand and squoze it so tight the screamed and i started freaking out even more.
She gave me some codeine and a beer and I felt so much better, drank some coffee and the trip subsided I then went and got a tattoo of a cat with four eyes because I figured it would be fun to get a tat for my bday
and that was that inb4 coollstorrrybromohurrrrrrr -

Every time I've taken acid or a psychedelic RC, I've had anxiety on the come up. I think that's what triggered my anxiety, coz I never had anxiety before that. Meh, was worth it in the end, but yeah, I don't wanna go thru all that shit again. -

2018-04-03 at 1:46 PM UTCI've never really had problems with anxiety or 'bad trips', but when you've actually got things to do 12-24 hours is a long time to spend almost completely unable to function

man, i feel you on that, but i had some dumb shit trigger hella anxiety for me
once in the military we had a formation, and i have no idea why this happened, because i was in a great mood. we were in afghanistan and we were going home in a few days. but all of a sudden i had a massive panic attack where i felt like i was going to pass out, which triggered panic attacks for a few years afterwards. it's gone now. it was crazy though, it sounds like some shit you hear people say happened when they had a bad trip or a near death experience and developed ptsd, but it was just from standing in a formation. -

I used to do it when I had a full time job. I remember once I timed it out where the RC's I was taking would make me trip for 12 hours, and I had work in 13 hours, everything would work out fine. But then when I was actually on it I was like WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING. I'M TRIPPING AND I HAVE WORK IN A FEW HOURS. I remember walking around the backyard of my friend's yard, everything looked like a forest from alice in wonderland, on the phone to my friend asking if he could cover my shift. He just told me to go to sleep and when I wake up I should be fine, and he was kind of right. Went into work and shit still looked a bit weird lol. -
2018-04-03 at 1:54 PM UTCYeah I mean it's hard if you've got a full time job and have to do things on weekends
Plus my girlfriend cannot handle it and does retarded shit if I'm 'out of order' -

Your name's not Adam is it?
I had a guy on my team do that a few years ago, he kept opening his drawer and just staring into it for minutes at a time -
2018-04-03 at 1:56 PM UTCI remember once I was at my friend's house, he invited me and some other guy over to do acid. But my friend lived with his girlfriend and I knew she had a problem with drugs and wouldn't want us over tripping. She stormed out of the house at the start of the trip, taking her pet dog with her, to leave to her sister's house for the weekend or something. Fucking funny, probably affected my friend's trip now that I think about it.

2018-04-03 at 1:57 PM UTCI have a lot of tripping stories, are they actually interesting to anyone else though? Whenever I tell them to people I can't help but think I'm boring people, like I'm telling people about my dreams.
