What's the deal with Satanic Ritual Abuse anyway?

In SoCal I didn't sense ghosts but I did sense an overwhelming sense of foreboding…a visceral feeling of impending doom.
David Bowie said of Los Angeles: "The fucking place should be wiped off the face of the earth" in the mid-70s, but this can be explained (at least in part) due to his enormous cocaine use of that time that resulted in paranoia with visions of Aleister Crowley and Jimmy Page, as well as witches 'stealing' his semen to use in certain rites. But did he clue into something along the lines which I am discussing here?

you can feel it at times. and not just when you're stoned or drunk. it's a natural high. deception everywhere. Even in nature.
