Cost of living varies widely but generally students can afford to live on their own on a part time income if they live with roommates. Roommates are suck in a lot of ways IMO, but it's still definitely living on your own. You should try it, I think you could swing it if you look around a bit. If nothing else it will give you some perspective on what living arrangements are like.
BTW what are you studying?
There is no way I'd live with roommates. I'm not going from living to free at home to PAYING to live with other people.
When I went to fiji and stayed by myself in that motel room, fuck it was so good. I LOVED coming home to an empty house. It was fucking paradise. I want that so badly.
I don't wanna give away what I'm studying for personal reasons, but my second major is computer science, which I've started this semester. -

2018-03-26 at 10:11 AM UTCI really just wish women would leave me alone. They keep asking for help with assignments, and I always give in and help them on the 0.00001% chance it'll lead to something more. But no, they always stop talking to me after the assignment's done. :( I can see it happening every time, but to tell them to leave me alone, I just... can't do. I am such a fucking cuck. I really am. Oh god.
So every time this happens, it's like... my hope is kinda raised, and then it comes crashing down. It's so fucked. -

Typical adult room mates will have their own bedrooms, so not that much different that having a hotel room. Even if that's somehow below you, have you looked at renting a place for yourself? You live in oz where everything's funny money right? Unless you're in Sydney I can't imagine living on your own is totally infeasible.
I went from living with my family to several years of living with room mates, to living on my own and I'll agree, having a place to yourself is a joy. But even living with roommates when I had my own room wasn't bad. There were petty squabbles over fridge etiquette and shit but really I had my own space and that was great at the time.I don't wanna give away what I'm studying for personal reasons, but my second major is computer science, which I've started this semester.
Personal reasons? There no way we could identify you from your major, but w/e. I was a comp-sci major (doing a masters in it atm as well). What motivated that? Genuine interest in the field or are you keen on the employment opportunities? IDK what the CS program is like wherever you're going to school but if you ever need help with an assignment or just have CS related questions feel free to start a thread or whatever. There aren't many topics I'm an expert on but at least that one I'm always happy to share whatever I know. -

Thanks heaps, when it gets harder (which I assume it will), I'll need help. And yeah, I dunno, it's not so much identifying reasons, I just like to keep my Enter persona and my IRL persona sort of separate, even though the woman hating does carry over into real life, especially these days.
I just took a valium. I really need to calm the fuck down and stop this woman hating shit. It's getting retarded. I just have to stop thinking about women... keep them out of my mind, which is a bitch considering they're constantly messaging me for help when assignments are due. -
2018-03-27 at 3:06 AM UTCI could imagine enter as a roommate. I'd come home from work at 4 am and hear "WHAT THE FUCK YOU DUMB BITCH?! DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WAS SEXY? HUH?! WHAT THE FUCK MADE YOU THINK THAT WAS SEXY? DID YOUR MOM DROP YOU ON YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU WERE A BABY?! IS THAT WHY YOU THINK THAT WAS HOT YOU STUPID CUNT?!"
"Enter, are you watching porn again?"
"NO!...FUCK YOU!" -
