Totally unrelated to the topic, but how do you feel about about the monitor? Does the curved thing do anything for you? Why the weird middle-ground resolution? I use thunderbolt displays that run at the same resolution but it's always seemed awkwardly positioned between 1080 and 4k (compounded in my case since it doesn't match my lid displays dpi) and would have opted for the 4k if apple made them. -

i think it helps if you use it in monitor distance instead of tv distance.
i use a 32inch tv as my monitor and i think the curvature would be helpful when your loooking at it from the distance of a foot+ or 2,
but from 7-8 feet away, curved or no curved makes no difference.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!
