Yeah Urdu is dope and all, but i don't think knowing how to speak a language that a lot of people speak makes it more impressive. If anything, if you speak a relatively rare language that just seems more impressive to me.
Uh, how? Difficulty is what's impressive. And having a first language basically eliminates difficulty of learning it. Everybody, literally everybody in the world does it.
Like I'd probably be pretty far along if I had chosen to learn french instead of Chinese. Pretty impressive that Falco learned English and had to learn a different betabet and direction of reading/writing. It is less impressive that you learned English with dutch chocolate being your first language. It is also less impressive that I learned English from Spanish. Especially since I learned at a young age. -
