the 'explosion' didnt even blow out the windows of his SUV, regardless of the already-broken rear window allowing release of some of the over-pressure.
he was probably using some shit-grade deflagrants...not explosives...and the media is sensationalizing everything as usual.
executive summary: some kid mushed together bunches of firecrackers to make things go ka-bloom-eeeee and the media/law enforcement is over-hyping it to make it seem like the next coming of hiroshima or nagasuckme to justify their meaningless existence.
reminds me of the time a few years ago the local LE found...literally...an empty soda bottle in a trash can and shut everything down in case it might splode. -
