   Because Benny Hill was apart of Television Vaudville. it's just visual smack. seeing odd, quirky or distasteful in society yet shown in unisen with an audience to be affected in the theatre of theatrics.
   
   Why do they call the building up of a battle "Theater" its to visually shock and awe (sound familure?) the audience viewing it. Seeing the big hard on smiles on Dick Cheney and George Bush's face, with rumsfeld next to them.
   
   so, distastful but I guess as I see it.. the same affect. just of distruction of peoples lives. it's the anti-benny hill show.
