2018-03-04 at 4:01 PM UTCOne of my pepper plants leaves is curling downward so I did a google search to see what was wrong with it and this page turns up:
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/curling-leaves-on-peppers.htm
It's obviously a site about gardening, and the headline at the top of the page in big colored letters says "Curling Leaves On Peppers: What To Do For Pepper Plants With Leaf Curl"
Then I start reading:Peppers add heat and a huge range of colors to the vegetable garden, but like their cousins the tomatoes, they can be finicky about growing conditions and sensitive to pest damage. Pepper leaf curl is a common symptom in peppers, as it is in tomato plants. Let’s learn more about leaf curl on pepper plants.
I KNOW WHAT PEPPERS DO. THAT'S WHY I'M GROWING THEM. DID YOU REALLY NEED TO INCLUDE THAT INFORMATION YOU FUCKING STUPID CUNT? AND THEN YOU TELL ME THAT PEPPER LEAVES CURL, REALLY? THAT'S WHY I'M FUCKING HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU STUPID BITCH. TO LEARN ABOUT PEPPER LEAVES CURLING. FUCK I HATE YOU!
FUCK OFF YOU WORTHLESS CUNT -

I think it's because that's what they were taught in school how essays should be written.

And what's the deeal with abstracts? If we know what the article will be about from the abstract, then why do we need the introduction? Hasn't it already been introduced far better than an "introduction" ever could?
Articles should only have abstracts, and conclusions. MAYBE a graph or two, time pending. -

Otherwise it was probably a freelance writer that's paid for a word count. -

An abstract should briefly describe the work being reported. The introduction generally explores the domain background and the problem the work being reported is trying to solve. -

I would do it mostly while I was working my other job. Usually about 1 hour a day, five days a week, max 2 hours a day. So it probably averaged out to something like 7$ per hour worked. Minimum wage was $10 -

Yeah the only reason I did it was basically to maximize my down time during my real job. So instead of sitting around doing nothing for $10 an hour, I would be writing as well, effectively making $17-18 for that hour.
I would also study a lot at work, although I didn’t end up finishing college anyways
