The humble guild of Weavers established themselves as masters of woven fabric, though they eventually transcended the limits of cloth and began to weave "subtle patterns of influence into the very fabric of reality." They were persecuted for these acts of "witchcraft," and purchased an island far off the mainland coast, which they called Loom, after the great loom that was the symbol of their guild.

God's master plan has remained unchanged, only interrupted. His plan is for a paradise right here on Earth, where people will live forever, without pain, without death, without suffering, without evil, and without corruption. Satan the Devil is actually an alien. He was of high stature and high rank in God's government, and he also had the title of ambassador to the first human couple in paradise here on Earth. He was THE go-between between Adam and God. Satan was very much admired and respected among his peers. But he was jealous of humanity in general; he adored the praise and glory himself, and was not so willing to share, and so he sought to trick humanity into a fatal error.

He considered Adam, devoted to God, close to God, knowing his ways and his mind. He finally decided Adam could not be deceived. Instead, he turned his focus to Eve. Satan approached her in the Garden of Eden and casually mentioned that the one tree in the garden God had forbid was actually the key to unlimited knowledge and unlimited power. She was doubtful. Satan then proceeded to increase his persuasive powers and declared that the single and only reason God forbade the taking of the fruit of the forbidden tree was because God knew that if she ate, she would become like God himself, and insisted this was the reason he forbade it. Why else would He forbid that one tree!? And so Eve, lured by the promise of a higher stature, ate of the forbidden fruit. Satan returned to his heavenly station, and none were the wiser, except for God.

Once Eve ate, she realized no change had occurred. She kept waiting and hoping, but she remained unchanged. She knew then she had been deceived. She ran to Adam and explained the entire situation, and Adam was aghast, in horror, shock. he could hardly even think straight. He also ate of the fruit, knowing full well in advance that he would share in the guilt with her, which was the sole reason he ate. They both hid. Then God came calling out to Adam, and Adam told God that Eve had been deceived. Eve then informed God that Satan had deceived her. God then cursed Satan. On their own admissions, and being perfect human beings, both Adam and Eve were then sentenced to death by natural causes, but their future offspring was spared. Adam lived to be over 900 years old when he died.

Some time later, God's heavenly court was called to Order. Satan was brought forth to answer to his charges. In defense, Satan opened with three main declarations: that 1/God has no real mandate in the first place to rule his own human creation, thus attempting to absolve himself of any and all responsibility of interference and sedition. And 2/that God's ways have not been proven to be the key to that which mankind needs to live a happy and successful life, thus implying that he himself could do better, and 3/mankind can only love God and is obedient to Him only out of a anterior motive of greed and lust for more material goods and power for themselves, thus making the counter-charge that mankind does not deserve to live anyways, even if he did interfere in their relationship with God.

This time we now live in, with all the suffering and death and disease and sickness and sadness, is merely Satan's legal opportunity to prove the false claims of his. To fully establish his defense. He has been legally appointed by the Judge, God himself, to be in full control of this Earth and all its inhabitants - as a full opportunity to prove his claims. God is fair, and provides even the wicked the full opportunity to prove their own defense. This is why Satan could take Jesus up to a high mountain top and offer him all the kingdoms of the world - because he is its actually the King of this world right now. Satan, and alien, having with him millions of years worth of highly advanced technology and knowledge, rules the planet. he has been legally afforded all the resources he needs to demonstrate his counter charges. For a time. And then a little time more.

But, now his time is very nearing a conclusion, as he knew it would come all along. All of his claims have been proven for the lies they always were, for all to see and witness firsthand, and he knew this from the beginning. Proven now and once for all time, never again to be used as a legitimate challenge to such an absurd defense.

And now, Satan, the alien, marooned here on this world, is in a rage and wishes to kill all humankind before he himself is ultimately found guilty and sentenced to death for his High Crimes against God and against all mankind, blasphemy. But he will not accomplish this wish, as his hands are tied by God himself in this instance. Once Satan and all his followers are justly executed for their crimes, then will return his attention to his original purpose, and mankind will live forever in a paradise Earth and never die, neither will pain nor suffering be any more. The whole Earth will become filled with law-abiding citizens. No more evil. No more games. All of that is coming soon. One will be taken, and the other left behind. The wheat will be sifted from the chaff. The sword will be strengthened through the fire. This is God's way.

No, no. This is all true. 100% fact. I know it sounds absolutely unbelievable, but every word is true. The end of this wicked system is right around the next corner. The Great Tribulation, then Armageddon, then the paradise Earth starts and all the good people who died start coming back just as they were.

God is some kind of multi-dimension, highly intelligent, all-knowing, all-powerful being. Pure energy, but a real person nonetheless, much like you or I. Nobody knows for sure exactly what God is made of, where he came from, or all of what he knows, but they can get to know, by studying and reflecting on what he says and does, the creations he's designed, the messages he's left.

But the range of being doesn't have to be confined to a binary, or even within a range between these two modalities - perhaps like you said, there is some kind of existence which defies the categories of ordinary being and nonbeing. Whether it would be an innate quality of that post-being or something acquired through the selection of superior strains of lower, sometimes-or-always-beings to transcend their plane of existence in some kind of metaphysical evolution, I can't really say.

I think the first point, about some states between being and nonbeing, is interesting and it does help us approach the idea of some kind of post-being. I think immediately of concepts like information when I think of something that kind of exists but not really. If I take an apple, it is one apple. If I take a second apple, that is two apples. If I put away the first apple, it is one apple. If I have an apple and put away one half of an apple, it is two halves of an apple. Where did we arrive at this unitarity of the apple? Of course we did so arbitrarily but what is that idea?

If you believe that human choices matter, you cannot also believe God is both all-knowing and all-powerful. I’ve covered this before
