    Anyone who believes that an all powerful cosmic deity will judge your worth as a person based on your dietary choices is stupid. I was raised Catholic and it was all about not eating meat on Fridays during Lent. We were told as kids that it was a horrible sin to consume meat on these certain calendar days created by man and that God would hate us for doing so. Retarded.

    Here in Ireland you were supposed not to eat meat on any Friday and choose something to give up for Lent (like chocolate, sugar, cakes, etc).
