Hahahaha. Now he gets it.
Coincidences exist. In the sense that things coincide. Frequently. But I mean... "letting go of an apple" and "the apple falling towards the ground" are things that coincide. There's a coincidence there. But you wouldn't say it's "just a coincidence". There's no such thing as "just a coincidence", just things that coincide which you may not understand.
At the same time, luck might exist. It's really just the measure of how often you get a "favorable" result from a random number generation. As someone who plays MMOs, surely you've prayed more than once to RNGesus?

Does everything happen for a reason?

Nothing has ever happened for no reason.

Since free will is a real, working function at play at all times, random variables are automatically in effect. So, yes, luck is real. Even on the grand scale of things, there are unknown elements, although there are certain outcomes which are invariably eventual and which cannot be changed by anyone, due to the very nature of their own properties.

No, you can prove it by describing your study of its effects.

Only if you're not a determinist.

I do not believe in coincidence, I believe are brains are way more powerful than we give them credit for and that synchronicity is extremely real
