Still an EnigmA, apparently.
that says it was created in 1997, totse.com was up until 2009. so what you're suggesting doesn't make sense.

You're not making much sense, son. Just because it was up until 2009 doesn't mean it's gone, it just means it went offline that year. Offline is not the same as gone. -
2018-02-19 at 3:28 AM UTCyou still haven't explained what this might mean, spectral

2018-02-19 at 8:41 PM UTCI guess what I’m getting at is why would Jeff or any of the offshoots bother to continue owning the domain after they are done running the sites, especially this many years after the fact? As long as you change your email address from being associated with any website to avoid what -SpectraL mentioned, then what does it matter if someone else took it?

It's probably easier to own it than it is to log on and cancel the subscription. It's only $5 or something a year to hold a .com
And the domain is still valuable - GoDaddy says it's worth $2k, so why not hold it and stop domain squatters and spammers taking it over.

Jeff Hunter is a boring old fart who does marketing now. He probably doesn't believe in the totse vision, want totse coming back, or feel like a new totse would even be a good thing. -

Shame about -Spectral. He's been locked in a loop since 1999. We'll have to delete that one. -
