anyone ever withdrew from benzos?

2018-01-31 at 3:47 AM UTCtaking xanax bars 1-3 times a week when you've got to do something stressful is a good way to make a shitty day pleasant. they dont seem recreational at all for me-- high doses just make me forget things, and my anxiety isn't bad anymore so i dont need/want them all of the time, for me it's like taking aspirin but for stress instead of pain.

Well thinking about it I've usually had at least a beer or something when I take etiz so there's some potentiating going on but even without any alcohol 1mg is past being functional. My alcohol tolerance is pretty high but it doesn't seem to have a lot of an effect on benzos. -

are you guys fucking serious? etizolam is half the potency of xanax, so lanny takes 0.5mg xanax and greenplastic takes 1.5mg xanax (equivalencies) even after using it for months. i used to take 2mg xanax xr every day for a few months like 4 years ago before i went off it. but i have taken a benzo once in the last 4 years, before starting again this week. 2mg of xanax effects me like 3 beers, then i drank 4 beers and now my overall buzz is like 5 beers. -

I really want/need it but that doesn't mean I want to get absolutely wrecked like I do when I do opiates or amps. I just want it to make everything brighter and happier and more fluid, then if I want to get wrecked there's always other drugs to stack on top.

As someone who drank like 14-20 beers 3-5 days a week for a decade I can second this. A Xanax and I'd be to pieces even if I only had a few beers with it. Xanax still fucks me up sober but I just use it to go to sleep instead of staying up and doing dumb shit like an idiot. -
