I’ve had tons of relationships. I’m in a long term relationship right now. She loves me like my dick is a drug and I’m her dealer. She can’t get enough of me.
But relationships are literal fucking torture. I’m only in one right now because of my irrational human need for physical/emotional contact and I’m not strong enough to just tell her to fuck off and change my address, phone#, etc. That would be too much work.
Sprituality is dogshit as well. Beliefs are for faggots.

Yeah, that’s what I’m afraid of -

Well "meaningful" was kind of the operant term there. Many people find platonic relationships among the most satisfying in the social sense, maybe you should start there?Sprituality is dogshit as well. Beliefs are for faggots.
You clearly believe in quite a few things, yeah? Aversion to death, a certain kind of ontology, a number of value judgements on the value (or absence of same) in various experiences. "Spiritual meaning" as used here doesn't mean "supernatural" if that's your hangup. -

So is reciprocity a criteria for “meaningful”?
I guess I do strongly believe that our lives serve no higher purpose and any superficial fulfillment achieved in our fleeting existence is altogether meaningless and serves only to underscore the pure horror that is death. Wait how does that help me again -

It would seem helpful at least. I'd say no relationship that's maintained because "it's more work not to" probably falls outside the circle of meaningfulness.

The point was that you have "belief" in the same sense a religious person does. You're not adverse to belief per se. Empirically we find that living with some sense of meaning, or at least stoic resolve, is a more tolerable existence that what you enjoy today. If you're unsatisfied with the way your life is now, why not try another way of being? -
2018-02-04 at 10:48 AM UTCYeah that’s enough armchair philosophizing for one night. I’m not Malice, I can’t autistically keep up with this bullshit conversation endlessly.
Bottom line is I’m just a neurotic, broken son of a bitch and nothing can ever fix me. Maybe one day I will just start medicating myself and pretend to be like everyone else for a while. -
2018-02-04 at 10:55 AM UTCEh, i think the proper term is logic. Not bullshit.

2018-02-04 at 10:57 AM UTCI’m all about logic my friend. I essentially live my life based on logic, it’s probably my one and only guiding principal actually. I literally tell people all the time, “stop being so fuckin emotional and just think logically”. My middle name is logic! Fox Logic Paws!

Given your response to Lanny that is demonstrably untrue.
