2018-01-12 at 8:28 PM UTCIt’s just that the guy kept saying you were 30 so I just figured I’d politely correct his error

2018-01-13 at 5:53 AM UTCSo Steam must be popular because its what I happened to install. Seems goid to me.
Also, updates are small little commands you run. On Steam its just a button. I'm not sure why you think its a hassle...maybe you use Windows.
One problem I am having is getting my Occulus Rift to work with Linux. -
2018-01-21 at 12:58 AM UTC§m£ÂgØL, this is what I'm probably going to order: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1TS-000X-00P95&cm_re=E5-575g-57d4-_-1TS-000X-00P95-_-Product
Better information here: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-E5-575G-57D4-15-6-Inches-Notebook-i5-7200U/dp/B01LD4MGY4#productDetails
It's a great deal. The laptop is pretty much perfect for my needs. -

Looks good, but that's expensive.
Gonna be attempting my laptop replacement soon. Bit scared of the static, really bad this time of year. I have a humidifier to help. Can't even pet my 9 dogs without shocking myself. -
2018-01-21 at 2:42 AM UTCYou poor piece of shit.

2018-01-21 at 2:50 AM UTCIf you just want a laptop to write on, surf the internet on etc look up government surplus sites and look at their electronics sections. When I was doing my iced tea project I used these sites to look for a van and they have a ton of potentially useful shit there.

Didn't know this was a thing, awesome.
I'll probably get a cheapo then build my own. -

2018-01-21 at 2:12 PM UTCYou don't necessarily have to buy brand new for laptops. If you needed a desktop, I'd recommend you build your own. If you want a laptop you can buy new or buy refurbished. I buy refurbished all of the time and have yet to have an issue. You just gotta buy from a quality refurbisher. Joy Systems Inc. is a good one.

I particularly recommend Lenovo brand laptops, (or MSI), but this is totally your choice. Browse their shit. They have a lot and its all backed with a 1 year warranty, the same you'd get from an "off the shelf" store. -
