   If you want to get started thinking about space time consider why when you look in a mirror left and right are inverted, but not up and down.
   
   Then formalise what you observe mathematically, and proceed on from there. Eventually you arrive at relativity.

   thats becos our stereoscopic eyes are in left-right config.
   
   if out eyes are in up-down config, we would perceive our images in the mirror as being upside down.
