Public Schools are filthy breeding grounds of germs and sickness
-
2015-08-13 at 11:12 AM UTCI took my son to the school he will be attending yesterday to talk with the principle for a few minutes. We sat in the office and the school was basically empty, no students around since it the school year doesn't start until next week. But lo and behold, my son wakes up at 3:00 AM this morning puking his guts out.
I know that it's because of germs he picked up from that brief visit to the school - it is filled with some sort of virulent strain of virus, because he came down sick like that a lot last year, especially after going back to school following summer break and Christmas break. That fucking place needs to be fumigated or something. And it's a mostly White school, hardly any blacks and only a few Hispanics.

2015-08-13 at 4:15 PM UTCThis is exactly why I do not like to work around people with school age children....they are basically short germ factories. I hate constantly being infected with something gross that the parents have brought into work from living in a home with these infectious little monsters.

2015-08-13 at 4:49 PM UTCYou guys must have weak immune systems. I only legitimately got sick once when I was a kid. All the other times I was faking it.

Same here, and I went to schools that were overpopulated; packed to the brim with more kids than they were designed to hold. I was also involved in all sorts of extra-curricular activities. Essentially, I was around my peers all thee fucking time, playing sports together, eating together, playing video games, sharing pens and pencils and chalk and paper and folders and just an all around germ fest. Never sick. -

My youngest son gets sick easier than my two older children did. His mother gets sick easily, so he may have inherited her immune system, although last year I got sick after my son caught something and it knocked me on my ass for days, took weeks to completely get over.
I'm just hoping that he got it out of his system last night. He hasn't thrown up any so far today, since he woke back up; of course he hasn't eaten anything yet either, so that will be the real test. -
2015-08-13 at 5:33 PM UTCHaving been to several private schools as a kid I can safely say that any place where you have a large gathering of young children is going to be a filthy breeding ground for germs and sickness

Dang, Lan Lan is a rich kid.
I already assumed this, it bleeds through from his political beliefs. -
2015-08-13 at 7:36 PM UTCI personally was not sick much as a child....but these days it is like they are giving these kids some super gross uber infectious plague-like diseases. I am almost never sick until I began working around people with school age children. Gross.

That's what I'm thinking too, it's gotta be those filthy Mexicans. We never had a problem with it until they started coming here and sending their kids to our schools. -
2015-08-15 at 6:04 PM UTCI have officially succumbed to the back to school virus.
I feel like death. -

Nah, not at all, I just grew up in places where public schools either didn't exist or largely failed to produce literate students by high school. The options were basically private school or no education at all. -
2015-08-15 at 6:23 PM UTCGlad I am a dirty bean. By immune system is boss. I lick toilet seats every chance I get, to A. hopefully infect other people and B. so that I can build my immune system.
Get recked fag -

Well hope he feels better. My daughters mom and I have started recently talking about private school. She's almost 3 so we have a while before we decide. She's pretty smart, but kinda weird. She said to me "sorry you have eyeballs.."

He's fine, kids are amazingly resilient and get over stuff quick.
But I have been sick as a dog since I came down with it. Did noting but sleep all day, except for a few brief intervals when I would get up to go to the bathroom and would try to sit up for a little while.
I think I'm better today, but still have some fever and other symptoms. -
