   This is the answer. I did the no shampoo thing and yeah, the oil goes away, but your hair fucking SMELLS. It's gross. Conditoner alone isn't enough. If you don't want to strip your hair, fine. But you have to use something or you will smell like shit. Bacteria love feasting on your oils.

    I had a black girlfriend who would only wash her hair every third day. I didn't ask the reason but I assumed it was a "nigga" thing and I honestly couldn't tell the difference either way she had a job where she did jack shit so it's not like she ever got dirty anyways.
