The NYT is run by the jedi Schulberger family, and owned by Carlos Slim and some jedis, and has been posting pure bullshit and propaganda lies as far as I can remember reading it (like early 2001).
Reading it will make you more confused about the world than you were than when you started. The reason is because it's mostly fiction and make believe. It's current-affairs fanfiction.
They are pure narrative. Anything which doesn't fit the narrative gets either ignored, or moved to a single paragraph on page 41 (along with their corrections). There are good reasons for disregarding it.

Yes but the problem is you are describing virtually every news media outlet on earth. You just don’t realize it.
To me, I use news organizations as a supply of facts about current events; all the bullshit hype/opinions/partisan rhetoric gets enhancemented out and I just see the data and use that data to form my own views. -

Case in point, Fox News is not even reporting this story. It was started by a Democratic senator, reported on by liberal media outlets, and does not fit with the conservative narrative they are trying to shovel down everyone’s throat.
But at the same time they are currently crucifying Nancy Pelosi about her “five white guys” comment the other day. And by the same token, none of the liberal outlets are talking about that.
