   just because you haven't looked into it doesn't mean it's 'never been investigated' - there have been many studies that have demonstrated people subject to vaccination* do not have higher instances of autism and serious illness, and available evidence seems to indicate the uptick in autism diagnoses in the last few decades has been due to changes in diagnostic criteria, not an actual increase in the number of autards.
   
   *The only instance of vaccines being directly linked to serious illness (that I'm aware of) was the 70s Spanish Flu outbreak, and that was multiple cases of nerve damage due to contamination. I'm not counting severe allergic reactions.
