Well I have no love for the man's politics but the fact that using language that is, if we're being honest, common parlance is what generates a media frenzy demonstrates how abysmal the nation's media apparatus is even at criticism. This is post-modernist society at its finest. We've talked the actual politics of immigration to death, milked it for every ounce of drama we could, and now being numb to the actual issue a hero or villain, depending on your perspective, appears to inject life into the issue through flamboyant theatrics. Having drained any semblance of meaning from national politics all that is left is spectacle and Trump is the man to deliver it to us.
