Lately I have been feeling bad for eating all of the neighborhood kitties, and I have even started petting one of the remaining stray kittens ( not worth eating a kitten ) and realized that cats are actually very nice creatures and should be cherished and don't deserve to be eaten.
So to sort of pay back to the cat community I was thinking of starting a kitty hive of sorts. Basically I want to buy a cheap house, fill it with old used carpets and close off the doors and windows and put a bunch of cat doors all over it. I kind of envision it as an urban kitten enrichment center where they can go get out of the cold and forget about life for a while.
I am soliciting donations, I think for 20 thousand dollars I can make this happen.
This is one prospective site, this lovely house is currently on the market listed at $17,500 and would make a perfect hive with minimal improvements.

This would be basically the pilot model and bigger hives created later. One cool thing about it is on a cold winter night the house will sound like a low subwoofer rumble from all the cats purring inside in harmony.
