if the owner cared about its flea bag it wouldnt have let it run feral or at the very least had a tag on it. its eradication was in complete compliance with florida state law. it was not only on my private property, it was not only violating my curtilage, it was threatening my livestock. there was literally cat-splatter on my chicken house it was so close.
additionally...post-mortem examination showed it was diseased, was covered in sores and un-healed wounds, and to top it off its nasty fur was crawling with some sort of bugs. they werent fleas...but kinda looked like them.
a couple of nights ago i had a dog in my scope...same bullet/load in the chamber as was used on the flea-bag in the pic...finger on the trigger. fortunately for it there was a collar with two tags...which i couldnt read because they were pushing each other out of the way. i had never seen that dog around so i gave it a pass. the funny part was i must have been down wind because when the stupid ass thing was leaving it trotted right past me within about ten feet without ever even noticing me.
