Some people go on Easter and Christmas to be nice to their family that believes in it. Some go for appearances. Some go because they genuinely believe in it and enjoy it. And some go to stand in the back and scope out wealthy old people to follow home after the service and rob them at their own home for as much as money as they can get.

its fucking boring tho. i take people who go to church as a good indicator that they are the exact sort of boring people i want to avoid having in my life. even if they're family.

When I was into it, it wasn't boring. Worshipping was actually fun, singing songs and dancing and shit, and I was interested in the teachings of the Bible at the time so I enjoyed learning about it. Its pretty much that simple. Same way you might find a class about heroin exciting but a class about taco shells boring.
Different strokes.
I get what you're saying, but in defense of the church I'll say that it can be interesting just as long as you're interested. Those that go there for appearances purposes are.the ones I don't get. They are surely bored but will get up early on Sundays to do that shit. That isn't right. Or normal. Or sane.

I went church a few years ago for midnight mass with this girl i was seeing and her family for xmas eve. I kept it real i got into a giggling fit while talking to my friend from Rdfrn man titties.
And then when her grandma spilled candle wax on her hand.
So i guess you can say i kept it real. Earlier this year i went to a hipster rock n roll church in my hood. Tons of hot chicks and v necks.
I used to go to church every sunday with my parents back in the day. Id smoke blue berry blunt after blue berry blunt before going to my confirmation classes.
I even once tripped bundy at my church one night.
But despite all of that i definitely listened to the sermons and took something from it. So i guess you can say i kept it real.
My daughters mom and my parents though did to keep up appearance i believe or they just thought it automatically makes you closer to god.
But my dad is different now i think. Hes an ordained minister of his church. He mows the lawn of the church and he built a playscape for the children and i believe donating your money and time like that for a good cause is admirable.
