People who aren't into rough sex should never reproduce

babies conceived during rough sex grow up better adapted to the world. This is a hypothesis I tested on your mother your age + 9 months ago

seriously though, I'm looking for studies about rough sex during pregnancy and none have to do with tests done after, only how safe it is for the baby. Why hasn't there been any research on this or the correlation between bdsm and emotional instability?

I think that anybody that's into really rough sex, like whips and dominantrix stuff (sp)? have some serious emotional/mental issues. I can't imagine getting off sexually to torturing someone. yeah, hair pulling or being tied up or handcuffs can be fun but actual BDSM shit where it's extremely violent kreeps me out.

Interesting. I'll give this some thought.

yeah that's pretty much what I'm talking about. Obviously equating violence with intimacy is fucked up and bdsm could be a good thing to study to find out more about this. I should have been clearer when I say "rough sex" I mean choking, slapping, biting, hair pulling, binding etc and bdsm is its own thing. I'm scared of studying this too deep and never coming back

Remember Faye Kane? She was pretty funny. One of the most fucked up people I've ever met. Very disturbing. I'm into hardcore stuff but... well, I'll have to give this some thought.

yeah it's all about the dif between pain and violence. I have a genetic predisposition to feeling pain differently/less severely. I ripped my gfs chain for the second time the other day cuz it gets caught in her hair when I pull it.

Lets conduct some studies. Find that girl I don't remember and ask her for her life story which is probably hilarious and tragic. I think a full 100% equation of sex and violence is too much but everyone sees at least some semblance between them.

bdsm's a power thing. It's not necessarily violent, not everybody that's into it likes pain, some people get off on being restrained or degraded.

Basically this. Loling at the ignorance of this thread.

Also, BDSM is very different from rough sex, as a session of BDSM can involve very little sex at all.

Also, to let you dumbasses know, there's tons of research out there on this and it doesn't say what you think it does.

if by "know first-hand" you mean read some erotica on the subject that you took as truth then I believe you. I have my suspicions you are a virgin irl.
