    ive been in forests before and its almost impossible to get any direct sunlight from under tree canopies.

    you must be deaf as fuck. im regularly 1 mile-plus away from various roadways...from I-95 (a major superhighway) to small dirt roads. I-95 is annoying due to the noises big-rigs make and the dirt roads when a single vehicle travels down it are more than loud enough to be heard.
    
    when we go shooting in the boonies the main road to get there is about .8 miles and any car/truck/ATV/bike on it is easily heard.
