people have wrong views on injection

2017-11-29 at 3:58 PM UTCThe other day I was telling my friend about semax which I inject because it's cheaper and more effective than intranasal and he's like "well I'm not going to do that" but it's just a subcutaneous injection. Yet this same dude goes to the clinic and has no problem with the 19 year old who just graduated with straight C's phlebotomist sticking needles in him.
Also I was chilling with my heroin addict friend the other night and was telling him I inject it subcutaneously. He said he's never injected anything subcutaneously because it "freaks him out." But you have no problem shooting up black junk with god knows what else in it and was smuggled up some dudes asshole for 6 years straight?
Beliefs really are stupid and just allow people to lie to themselves. -

It's just a ROA, and if done properly, it's safe. The only real safety issue here is when not taking care of yourself (i.e. being clean before and after using needles) and IVing drugs which you don't know the potency, or what cuts have been thrown in there. This is how a lot of people overdose and has given people a stigma against needles with the war on drugs. Also, there's a lot of people who are just pussies anyway, and can't stand the thought or sight of blood, or sticking them self, or ignorant people who assume it'll hurt (which SubQ and IM can, but typically, IV shouldn't ever hurt if you use clean sharp needles and don't blow, or infiltrate). I lol hard when you have an opiate user who just snorts or smokes, then gets on their high horse and acts better than the guy who IV's their drugs. Bio-availability is another thing people don't understand either. Funny when people get bent out of shape when you tell someone to just shove it up their ass when they first cringe out about IVing.

Yeah I know theres definitely a stigma, I used to shoot h a bunch when I was younger, I shot meth once, and shot coke a few times. I actually shot crack a few months ago which was something new to me. It got me pretty high despite being drunk. But the thing with me was when I was shooting H daily I would get sloppy, not that I shared spoons or needles but I was fucked up and kept shooting up and I'd get out of my high and be bruised up.
My friend who is now dead who I used to do h with ent up in the hospital twice because of severe abscesses.. but at this point i wasn't doing h or really hanging around him so I couldn't tell you what he was or was not doing that caused this or he just naturally had staph or something on his skin.
I looked up subcutaneous injection and didn't get a clear definition, but thats basically just skin popping right? I feel like skin popping is safer if thats the case, but i would go for the vein when I did H almost all the time.
But anyways yeah the last time I did h I just snorted it, all of it and it was way too much for me as I don't normally do stuff like that. I was puking for hours, kinda sucked lol -

I've never shot anything personally well aside from meth up my ass but there's definitely a stigma with shooting up. As long as you aren't sharing needles or using the same ones over and over I imagine you'll be fine but of course you know that.

I get what you're saying but you do have to realize, needles weren't meant to go in the human as its a foreign substance, but to each their own. I've done it plenty of times and shit does actually happen, I guess it just all comes down to how safely you do it and what you are shooting, I used to be a nursing assistant and a couple people would complain about how I was strapping the armband blood pressure monitor too tight because they had bruises from what they were doing, but I honestly didn't care or have any sympathy for them.
I've noticed a lot of meth heads in my area have a superiority complex, they think that because they are just smoking meth its all good and heroin users are trash and then a lot of those meth heads end up shooting meth or shooting heroin and die or something like that. -

I liked to use rubbing alcohol (93%) too, if I did have to reuse them. THem not being sharp is what really does damage to your veins and make tractmarks. Use Silver Sulfadine ointment (it's RX, and usually given to burn patients, or those tryign to avoid scarring from an injury) use that shit every time and you'll never develop tractmarks. -

why can't you just buy new needles? we used to have a needle exchange program here by the uni where they gave you needles out of a truck , but the cops closed that down and arrested all the funkies. -

LOL. I knew those programs were something like that. I try to warn people about shit like that but of course all the heroin and sebutec junkies are know it all and can't be taught anything..at least around here. -

for me it isnt so much as a beliefs but more of an impression thing.
i often judge people according to their dependency on drugs and drug induced happiness and the more hurtful and degrading things one is willing to do to acquire and administer drug .....
the more it is dependent on drugs.
like theres nothing wrong with nicotine addiction but i still cringe when i see bums and hobos salvaging unburnt cigarettes from the sidewalk, street and trashcans to satisfy their nicotine addiction. -

yeah its fucked up, I went to one of those trucks once and the black dude working there gave me a hint, then a couple of my "friends" (we were all younger and naive) got busted, I still went down there after that to get stuff but I only dealt with people I knew at that point and eventually went to the east side, but basically cut it out unless I'm getting it from someone I personally know really well.
but yeah they really cleaned that area up and not that I'm against drugs but there were a lot of those gutter punk faggots that smelled like piss and were total trash.
now the only drugs you can get in the area are psychedelics and meth and of course weed but I don't really smoke anymore. -
2017-11-29 at 6:18 PM UTCBut anyways, its only like 2.50 for a pack of ten needles or something at the walgreens, whats actually kind of funny is I would go score h at this one walgreens and they had to put a lock on the bathroom because too many h-tards were overdosing in the bathroom. my "friend" doesn't have a car and is afraid to buy needles at his work place so he re-uses his needles and he's had hepatitis twice. Like I once went to score with him and asked the dude he introduced me too if he had any cleans and he was like errr u can mine and clean it with bleach and I know bleach is "effective" but I still don't want to go that route.
