Every fucking dog we have is a mutation. bred for a certain type of function. Either to chase fox or to go hunting and dive in the water after game (Golden Retrievers have a special oily coat to keep them warm in water) and so on.
The Golden Retriever is a box terrier (in the family) and mixed with some other shit like a malamute for it's full fur (sic) but anyhow box nose like terriers, Stanforshire Pits Bulls, English Bulldogs all have serious breathing problems. and they all require being indoor for the most part.
so if you live in a really cold fucking place, throw a sweater on that bitch.
