Not the West. The Southwest. Most of Texas to Southern California is considered the South West. When you hit the Sierra region of California all the way to Colorado, Utah, Nevada is The West. From just north of San Francisco to Canada.. is the North West. California is in 3 different agricultural zones and has micro climates. California is a country of its own. Don't hate us! -
