Cyanoacrylate

  1. #1
this isn't about getting high, so it's not a bltc question..much

I saw a video of a dude explaining cheap fixes in the Iraq war on copters

using Cyanoacrylate and Baking soda. once you pour baking soda on a drop of superglue (Cyanoacrylate) it hardens rock hard.

Is it safe for a big gaping hole in my tooth, which the nerve is pretty much disolved by now (not much pain as it used to be)

I'll clean it out first.. but this fucking fix a dent is expensive and wears out in a few days.

should I place fix a dent in and then cap it off with super glue and toss baking soda on it? will the fumes fuck me up?

    not recommended

I've seen some writeups on home dentistry, haven't been game to try it, plus even just being able to see in there would be difficult.

superglue is not pure enough for medical uses though - too many impurities, typically causes irritation. you can buy dentist's filler but it's expensive

Go to the dentist or just rip the tooth out with pliers.

it's an end tooth like number 32.

so if I remove it, I won't have anything to chew food properly.

I am still thinking of removing all of my teeth (common not long ago for people to do at age 50)

But my Girlfriend sounds like she will leave me. She tells me I will have bone loss and look like a fucking druggy or something (Methheads lose bone in their jaws)

Well I have no decent dental. This is why when this film is done, I am going full on studying Coding. Mainly Python.

If you don't have Python skills today, you're pretty much crippled in business skills. it's a must now.

then I guess java, ruby? point being.. even a mid level Job at a tech company is 60-70k starting. with full dental and medical usually. until then, it's DIY. I'm in survival mode guys. one minute My girlfriend says "Just stay here as long as you want" then it's .. I want to be alone for a while. which is OK. I split, crash in my car.. but lately in her garage for a few hours, come in, shower and then split for work.

but it was really fucking cold 2 nights ago when We got into a spat. would be embarassed if one of her neighbors saw me. I should have a monkey suit on with a wrench and look like I fell asleep working on something so they don't bitch.

So you need salivation and grinding and chewing in order for food to break down properly and nurish you. it is said that people who lose their teeth (like on islands where there is no dentist) that they die shortly afterwards from malnutrician.. they will gum their food but it doesn't break the food down properly.. that is why they tell us to chew our food at least 20 times. you need the saliva enzymes to break it down to get into the blood stream properly.

the only other method is to blend your food in a bullet blender on high, and then slowly sip on it, with saliva hoping that will do the same thing.

Go to your local chinatown, I got a tooth pulled for ~$50 from someone with a very questionable dental license years ago. Getting teeth out isn't a complicated job unless you're trying to set up a system of mirrors to be able to do it yourself - you don't need to go to a high-end clinic.

Python isn't required for most IT work. It's always good to know a language you can use for simple automation; something like Python, Perl or shell scripting goes a long way, but Python is nowhere near a must unless you're looking for a role that specifically demands it.

Well sadly we live in a shallow fucking world. My girlfriend would seriously leave me, I wouldn't do well at future Job interviews with Job that pay well.

I just want to fill it for now. cross fingers and hope I get really good dental options.. like dental work at 7000 a year.. I could probably get 2 teeth fixed a year, for the two years. and if my job and dental started at the end of the year, they would then work on the other two teeth the following months, instead having to wait an entire year.

and then the third year, I'll probably have another root canal waiting.

Learn Python, it's good for machine learning, and blockchain programming, which are the big things right now.

Superglue is super messy. You might wind up with glue all over your teeth. If it goes wrong remember to have nail polish remover around.

You need a filling. Are there no charities around that can help?

How many jobs are there for that sort of thing? It's all good and well if you want to learn or contribute to OSS but he specifically said he wanted to get into the IT industry. I'd expect specialist jobs like that would require a comp sci degree as well.

Also, you'd likely need to get into crypto as well which is complicated and requires a solid foundation in mathematics

San Francisco has a high demand for various Jobs. it is very expesnive to live here so if you make close to that 6 figure mark, all your money will be blown on suriving out here.

if you do come to look for work, bring a pickup with a camper shell or a van

actually don't come. this area is already over populated for it's small size

    i fixed a fucked-up tooth with two-part marine epoxy.

i cleaned it with a tiny brass brush...a tiny round one i used to clean my paint gun, then used my air compressor with low pressure to dry it completely, then jammed in the epoxy, letting it dry for a couple of hours.

a few years later a dentist asked me about it and i told him what it was so he pulled it out and filled it with some dental shit.
