Maybe American isn't the right word, because it makes you think of the continent but the people who founded the United States and their descendants are an ethnic group and you are not part of it.
China has a blood policy, but an arab born in Germany is definitely German. There are black people in France whose family has been there since the 1500's. Their culture is French, their Language is French, and they are treated like French people. -

Originally posted by aldra Not sure if I posted in this thread or another one, but the main thing that makes me think that is the sheer number of guns he had, and the fact that the accessories and attachments he used were a literal list of all the things the left wants to ban, things that anti-gun states like California have largely already banned - most of them would've actually made it harder for him to fire accurately, meaning he likely valued the political impact over raw kill count.
What if he just like collecting them? What if he wanted them as backup? What if HE wanted to make a point? Stop making jumps. -

2017-11-14 at 4:14 AM UTCYeah, that's what I mean - the whole picture we've been given is fuzzy, there's either no information or way too much conflicting information. Out of the popular theories though, those are the only ones that seem to make any sense to me

Originally posted by aldra I do think given the circumstances and the evidence we do have, it's likely that it was either some sort of federal arms deal that went wrong or an attack that specifically targeted gun ownership, whether it was committed by Paddock alone or someone (or some agency) backed him.
