2017-11-11 at 12 PM UTCwould it be completely impossible for future tech that could enable them to see back in time. not to actually travel physically, but just to view any place at any time in the past. that would pretty much fuck any unsolved crime for real. i know i'd be facing some serious time anyway.

deja-vu...the movie.
in seriousness...they're working on having constant video imagery of the surface taken from high altitude that can be recorded then played back at a future date if needed. -

this is what i've been thinking, its gonna come to a point where all those cctv cameras are gonna disappear from the streets because they'll have total coverage from satellites recording 24/7. that'll be a bit of a cunt for criminal types. will make it a pretty boring world in my opinion.

2017-11-11 at 3:36 PM UTCyou guys might want to get all your cereal killing done now while you still got a chance.

Likely they already do on a thermal level. In time they may hand the recorded data to LE, who will then be able to solve cold cases. -

the only problem is they dont have imagery capable of penetrating cloud cover that is able to identify specific individuals. or...artificial smoke. -
2017-11-11 at 10:18 PM UTCIt won't
I was reading up on Security Tech a bit.
It will be a combination by Google and other companies venturing in satellite hi res cameras where 1 pixle is maybe 12-15 inches. not enough to identify even from an angel shot. we can just go on google map and see live motion from anywhere on the planet from a space side view.
Yet, they will also use drones at a lower altitude and try and use them as close ups .. they wont be readily available in all areas of the world for a while
and of course.. stationary positioned cameras at ground level or top of building sides will probably come into use for googlemap live

at the moment, altho you can't watch live on googlemaps.
cloud cover is currently a problem but that's what technology is all about, finding solutions to overcome obstacles and problems.

Ok, sociopath. The feeling of guilt has a remorse component. Also, while we are at it feeling remorse is not feeling like shit because you left evidence that got you caught. It is by it's nature a function of empathy. Which is why sociopaths and psychopaths do not experience it. -
2017-11-12 at 12:42 AM UTCright.. it would adjust the size to grid region to give it continuity. by switching from Satellite to a drone with camera , flying lower. also the grids will have a compression/decompression (Codec) to allow some blocks to animate while freezing others .. you would only miss really small things moving by freezing the frame until something significant comes into the block (Sort of a grid with in the grid.. or a giant block of pixels)
and also a street level and hover view
It should also be equiped with an AI of sort to blur out peoples face in real time, as well as license plates or other personal things that could get google sued. yet google will more than likely share with police and federal agents if asked or allow them to view in real time without the enhancement of blur.
You knew it was comming though.. someone checking out your wife or daughters by the poolside with their faces blured.. like bagging a face, Ya Know! (Val)Originally posted by NARCassist at the moment, altho you can't watch live on googlemaps.

Can remorse be feeling bad you did committed murder because it had a negative effect on you - not because you killed the person? -
