Some of you resent your parents. Some of you, will taunt the whole aspect of the thread as lying to your patents is less worse than any other thing you've done.
But let's get back on point...I hate lying to my parents, whatever it may be. I've always disliked lying. I've always been a bad liar.
No mom, I didn't smoke pot.
I just lied to my mom about medication, my clonazepam...not my psyche meds...as I know someone would make a jab.

It was a simple lie.
She's in charge of my clonazepam, as though she doesn't really mistrust me (she should), my dad could get into them so she keeps them in a lockbox. She leaves 1 mg in their medicine cabinet for me.
SO..I went upstairs and took the 1mg, came downstairs asked for my clonazepam, and told her I had taken that one mg earlier. So she went and got me two. So I took 3mg all together

No offense, but is your mom stupid or something? Is she a drunk? Why would she give you TWO and why did asking for another one work so easily The math doesn't math. Why is she worried about your dad stealing your meds? Has he done it before? How many are you supposed to take daily?
lol when i read the thread title i started laughing with out reading any of the post. I've lied to my parents many times, but only to protect myself when I was younger. But at the same time I've told them the cold truth / they have found out about me/know me, so its no big secret the last 13 years I haven't lived with them.
I used to lie all the time to my mom and dad about smoking the herbivore. And a couple summers ago my mom called me crying telling me she was going to leave my dad because he didnt care that she was going blind and wanted to move to colorado to smoke and asked if i could get her bud and I told her to get bent because I'm not allowed to smoke and she was against it back in the early 2000's, fuck her.

I am prescribed 2mg a day
My dad has been subscribed trazodone, ambien(forgot the chem name), lorazepam (does anyone enjoy this?), among a few other drugs like amphetamine and yes, he has a drug problem. He's doing better now though.
I think you misread my post or I didn't make it clear enough. My mom leaves me an mg of clonazepam in the medicine cabinet. She always does. I simply grabbed that one, told her I took it earlier in the day and got 2 mg when I asked.
