Not really. It hasn't stopped me from doing anything. It's giving me money and allowing me to do what I want with it, with plenty of options to do anything else I want. Most - if not all - of my emotional problems stem from shit that society had no control over.~ -

To make me smarter and help me remember things better and/or may be able to download data straight to my brain.

I bet if we ever get non-chemical "brain enhancement" (like via nanobot or direct neural interface or whatever instead of drugs) it's going to end up being like general access to computers has been: it will be industrially useful and actually contribute to the intelligence of some people but the majority of use will be on really stupid shit and generally degrade the human condition. I can just imagine a bus full of fuckers using $10k worth of neural implants each to play candy crush (via retinal projection or some shit) really fast -
