Anyone here ever had braces before?

2017-10-21 at 11:22 PM UTCBraces are mostly a con. My crook dentist tried to con my Mom into getting me braces. The price was too expensive for her. It caused her (and me) a lot of upset, as she couldn't afford them (single Mom) but my teeth turned out just fine.
He fucking knew. Fucking rat bastard.
I see so many girls with braces, and I wonder "how much time and money was wasted on basically nothing". There is zero review, zero evidence based medicine applied in these sort of circumstances. If parent's have money they'll be taken for a ride.
The ultimate idea of braces is that your ugly ass kid will be able to attract a better mate than they otherwise would have been able to. But unless your teeth are all over the place (eye teeth, etc, which are even ignoreable) spending a little time developing your kid's personality is a much better investment. -

Yet white people (Especially Brits) have gangling teeth? I have them too.
I think white people tend to have smaller pallets? so there isn't enough gum to keep them in tact. so if we're the so called "Evolved" race.. wtf is up with the teeth not catching up.
and why do we have that crazy enlarged K9. Maybe we're the unevolved.

Yes. Evolution isn't some perfect system of continuous improvement. It is just random mutations, and whichever ones help the species to continue surviving and reproducing end up sticking around. It's still full of mistakes. That's why we have an appendix and our pineal gland still has photoreceptors. -

I never said I believed in reincarnation. I already gave my explanation. I believe the soul keeps moving on but you're not put into another "body" here on earth like, you don't come back as an ant or a tige. You keep moving on through different planes with out your earth body DERPADEW!
and as totse2001 already said religion is an ever evolving thing. Christianity has not always been the same lol, you need to study up on the fundamentals before you start accusing people of being a heretic. -

That's still not what Catholicism claims happens after death.
